Huge Intel AMT vulnerability

Harry Sintonen from F-Secure found huge vulnerability from Intel’s Active Management Technology. If interested, read the full story here.

The recommended steps by F-Secure:

  1. Always keep on eye on your computer in public places
  2. Change your AMT password to be something else than “admin”, even if you are not planning to use AMT. You can also disable AMT.
  3. If you cannot change the AMT password, you might be pawned already…
